Fed up?

Anyone else getting a bit fed up of so many people putting things like 'God has a plan' or 'Pray for me'? It's like they assume everyone is Christian and believes what they do. I find it really annoying. I am sure they mean well but argh!!

I saw a post at the top of the Hot section here saying "I will get pregnant in the name of Jesus!" or something like that, with so many "Amen!" comments and it annoyed me so much. I was internally screaming "No! That's not how that works! Be grateful for biology and anatomy, not Jesus!"

I’m starting to notice a massive influx of people just randomly posting statements followed by “in Jesus name” or “by the grace of God” or some other crap. It’s so cringey 😬

I'm TTC and had 2 miscarriages this past year. Every time I post anything I get all these "I'll pray for you" "Jesus has a plan" comments like lmao what the fuck! These people really believe there's some magic angel man who lives in the sky and decides how our lives pan out. It's so crazy to me. Sperm fertilizes egg. Cells divide and fetus begins to form. Jesus didn't do shit. He's a made up character in a crusty old book.
