Anybody Out There Lost A Mom?

Question

My mom is really sick right now with severe heart problems again! I don’t know what’s going to happen with her. I’m devastated! She and my dad are my only support system when it comes to raising my kids. I’m single. 
Does anyone have any tips on how to handle the grief of losing a parent, especially a mom?

I see that you are a nurse! I've only lost close family. I recently became an EMT and from what I've seen you have to let it flow. There's no trick or short cut. You are going to feel pain, you are going to cry, and you will move forward. What ever happens you have to accept what happens, allow yourself to grieve, and give it time. You will always remember her and it may be a sore topic for the rest of your life. Loosing anyone you perceive as family that you love is hard. You are human and are allowed to cry. Give yourself time then pick yourself up and do what you have got to do. Remember you are amazing! Your life is beautiful and I'm sure hers was to! Celebrate her life not her death!💞

I lost my mum when I was 19, I'm now 27.
I won't lie and say it's gotten easier because it honestly hasn't. I miss her every day. You just have to get through it. Her love and strength will get you through it no matter how hard it gets.

I lost my mom nearly 5 years ago when I was 27. It’s still hard I think about her everyday. Enjoy every moment you have with her. I didn’t get that chance.

My mom passed away April 16. And I'm still trying to come to terms with it. She spent the last month of her life in a hospital bed with me right beside her the entire time. My mom was/IS my best friend. I'm so lost and completely Broken 💔
