All natural birth experience and birth photos
I’m a first time mom as of February 23. My labor experience was truly amazing and I’d do it 1000x again. I did not have an epidural but I won’t tell you that it was easy. It was so difficult but I had my mind set on all natural from the very beginning. I had my midwife, husband, and sister in law (former doula) with me the entire time telling me how great I was doing and to keep going. There was ONE time that I said I don’t think I can keep going without the epidural but they all told me I can and I DID. Support is a HUGE part of the labor process. I blood pressure was off a little but they kept checking it and everything was fine. The hardest part for me was pushing. I did only push for 30 minutes but every time I’d actually push I got dizzy so they gave me oxygen (I don’t think that’s what made me dizzy😂). It truly was an amazing experience. My entire labor was only 5 hours. I never laid on the bed until it was time to push. I was up walking the halls for a while and every contraction I would stop and sway my hips back and forth while focusing on my breathing. Then I went back to the room and had my knees on the floor while draping my upper body over a birthing ball and relaxing while listening to music and same thing with every contraction I swayed my hips. After that they checked me and at 7 cm they let me in the jacuzzi and that HELPED a TON! I was in there until it was pushing time. I constantly had lavender essential oils going through a diffuser and when I was in the jacuzzi I had meditation music going.
Just wanted to share my experience for those who are about to be moms ☺️💕
