MiraLAX question

C

My daughter has had trouble pooping since she was born, she always had hard stools and usually only went every 2-3 days. Since we started potty training she tries to hold it longer, usually 3-4 days, and when she goes it hurts her because her stools are so hard. She always tells me owie owie caca and so on. Well, her pediatrician put her in MiraLAX for 2 weeks just to get everything cleaned out since her intestines are really swollen and she’s literally full of shit. We are on day 3 of MiraLAX and still no bowel movement. Should I be concerned? What else can I do to help her?

She takes culturelle probiotics and fiber gummies every day, I give the MiraLAX with prune juice (even though she never really had juice before); I’ve tried Karo syrup; she wears pull-ups for nap and night that she could use for pooping if she would be too scared pooping on the potty (when she does poop on the potty she’s usually okay, she just tells me it hurts and it takes around 30 minutes for her to do it all), but she doesn’t. She just turned 2, I just don’t want her to suffer. Any advice?
