i am 32 weeks & 4 days pregnant with my very first child. i am having a really hard time because i really want to go on maternity leave but my boyfriend won’t let me. yes i know it’s not his choice but it also kinda is because who will pay my bills when i get out? i work in fast food so i won’t get paid leave. i’m not asking to go on maternity leave tomorrow or next week but it’s super frustrating when my boss told me he’d cut my hours then i still am working 9 hour shifts everyday which is difficult for me because i can barely make it through a short 5 hour one. am i crazy for being mad at him & just wanting to go on maternity leave?
