Suggestions to improve newborn sleep at night/early morning?

My son turns two weeks old tomorrow. Any suggestions for getting him to sleep more through the night? He seems to sleep more in the day. He is being breastfed.

Wait two or three years. They sleep a tiny bit more then. Other than that I have no advice. At such a young age you can’t expect baby to go long stretches asleep.

You have to be consistant with daytime naps being in a bright area and night time feedings in a very dark setting with little noise or distraction. This will help get their daytime and night time on track but it doesn't always mean better nighttime sleep. 
My son knew night from day but woke every 2 hours like clockwork for a feed until he was 15 months old. Then he dropped to waking once a night.  At this point, i know you're tired so make sure to nap during the day when baby naps.  Youll make it through

It is normal during first two weeks. Plus at this time they are going through growth spur. They are the most difficult on parents. My boy is 4 weeks and now wakes up once at night. But at two weeks it was every 1-2 hours. 
Very soon he will be more awake during day, but for now swaddling will help and being close to you.

I wake my son up after being asleep for an hour and a half to two hours in the day. I change his diaper and feed him. I “play” with him and try to stimulate him to stay awake. He’s 3 weeks now and seems to do well with staying alert for 45 min to an hour on his own. But I’ve noticed that doing this and feeding right before bed helps him sleep longer through the night. It’s not entirely consistent since he’s a newborn but we get 4-5 hour stretches at the beginning of the night, then feed/change him, then he’s down for another 3, then 2 and we are up for the morning. 
Every baby is different but this is what I’ve found works for him and me. He’s EBF as well but I just introduced a bottle of breast milk this week also. I only use the bottle during the day and I’ve noticed that with a bottle he is staying awake to eat vs falling asleep at my breast, which he does at night.
