First baby?

I’m 36 weeks and I honestly can’t wait to meet my little man 💙

I had gestational diabetes so was a high risk pregnancy, I wasn't allowed to go over 40weeks as the risk of him being still born went up drastically, was induced on my due date after being in stop start labour for 3weeks! The induced me at 10am, by 11am I was contracting 5 mins apart, 2cm dilated, by 1pm I was 3cm, by 2.30pm I was still 3cm! But suddenly at 3.05pm I was screaming that his head was coming and I needed to push, I flew straight to 10cm!! And his head was coming! I was rushed to delivery, 45minutes later my son was born at 3.51pm weighing 7lb 3oz, I done it all without pain relief not even gas and air!

I was 39+3 and completely miserable. My husband was out hunting and I was relaxing in bed on a Saturday morning. About 10 am I decide to get out of bed and start working down my “to do” list for the day which was pretty long! I reached up to grab pants off a shelf and my water broke! I immediately ran to the bathroom and sat on the toilet and liquid just poured out. I did some kegels to make sure I wasn’t just peeing myself but I couldn’t stop the stream so I knew it was my water. I called my husband who said he would head home right away but it would take him about an hour. Then I called my MIL who happened to be like 10 minutes away so she came and picked me up and took me to the hospital. 
My husband met us at the hospital where I was found to be 6 cm dilated (I had been at a 4 since 37 weeks). They got me into a room and checked me again and I was 8. I vomited EVERYWHERE and had them check me again and I was a 10! Pushed for about two hours and he was born at 2:35 pm. 9 pounds, 3 oz, no pain meds of any kind. 
It all happened so fast it seemed like a dream, I couldn’t believe it. He’s 18 months old now and I’m due with #2 in September!

My baby came 5 days early but I don’t say he’s an early baby because it was within the week of his due date.

My first child was born 4 days past his due date after I was induced. My daughter came 11 days early on her own. I’m currently pregnant with number 3 and I’m curious to see when she will make her grand arrival.
