Announce or Wait?

We were planning to announce today at 12 weeks on social media. But an acquaintance on FB lost her husband in a tragic car accident this morning. Her husband is a cousin of a friend I used to work with a couple years ago. My heart hurts for them and their loss. They are not close friends but I still don’t know if I should announce today or wait a few days. Thoughts? TIA

If people are posting a lot of stuff about this persons passing I would maybe wait a few days just out of respect. 
But if not and you were truly excited about announcing today then do it, it’s an unfortunate event but life does again

I was going to announce Sunday to my husband and everyone else at 12 weeks but I’ve decided to wait until this Saturday out of respect for two people who have passed that are family to some friends of mine.
