Play pin or crib?

My son is 4m he know how to scoot himself, he is currently sleeping in the bassinet part of a play pin. He scoots himself to the end and ends up pressed against the side even swaddled. We have a crib that the mattress adjust up and down,  and im currently working on getting a crib set.  
So, i guess my question is should i drop him down into the actual play pin part, or transfer him to a crib?

I would just drop the play pen down. Also cribs should not have any bedding set except for a fitted sheet. That’s all.

Im not sure what exactly you mean by scoot but if he’s mobile like that - especially if he can roll then he shouldn’t be swaddled. It’s a suffocation hazard. And since he’s somewhat mobile I would put him in a pack and play or a crib on the lowest setting (doesn’t matter which one, as long as you use the lowest setting on either).
