I'm 41 and have apparently experienced my first miscarriage! I was 3 days late had a faint positive, went to ER with heavy bleeding & passing large clots! My cervix was closed and my HCG was at 17.8 so they sent me home and told me to have my Gyno re-test my levels in 48 hours! Well it went down to 16 something! At that point my period was getting light! So I'm thinking now I haven't expelled it yet. Waiting on my Gyno to review my chart so I suppose I'll find something out this week! Hoping maybe my levels will be nearly to 0 next week, not even sure how long it takes! Still experiencing cramping as well! Just wanting to try again soon! So heartbreaking! Guess I'll BD every other day for next few months until my cycle gets back to normal again! On the bright side, I stopped Birth Control 3 months ago and now I know I'm still fertile!
