Motherly instinct?

So I'm 28 weeks and I feel my baby girl really low like literally I feel like she is ready to slip out down there... when I was 24 weeks I was already 50% effaced so with that being said I have this feeling that I'm going to have her earlier than expected or maybe even way earlier .. has anyone else had that instinct and actually gone in to labor early??? My next appointment is Tuesday so I'll definitely bring up the pressure down there and feeling like she's way down there ..
