Hi fellow mamas,

So my son had eye issues from the beginning, but everyone (except his pediatrician) kept telling us to WAIT until 6month corrected age.

now my 9 month old (7 months corrected age) just finished getting his eye checked and the optometrist said that he should see an ophthalmologist (surprise, surprise), and that the prescription is quite high (more than +5).

I'm just frustrated that I had to fight to get my son seen by anyone, and that his condition just got worse in the meantime.

Now, I dont know what to expect, but, I dont think I could handle him going through an operation.

Has anyone gone through anything similar?
