When to bring newborn out?

Hi all! I'm posting this in a few locations to get all the info I can from all the different moms out there!
I will be a FTM in September and I'm curious when you think it is okay to bring baby out to a more public setting? 
Places such as; the gym, birthday party, the mall etc. Places that have more people/germs.

We started at 2 weeks. Just didn’t allow ppl to touch but brought him out and about. He just slept in his car carrier most of the time lol.

We took her out to the store like the day after we left the hospital. I just kept her covered. We also went to the mall around her being a week or two because I needed nursing bras. This baby will be the same, I probably won’t wait at all. Just make sure to keep baby covered and people from touching.

3+ months but keep baby covered especially during flu season.

We went to a Canada Day celebration when my son was 6 days old (he stayed in the carrier) and my friend’s engagement party and a family dinner at 7 days old. We just didn’t pass him around. I’d lose my mind not leaving the house for weeks at a time.

We went to target on the way home from the hospital 😂. Just wherever you go, keep the baby away from people for a while. And wash your hands and stuff.

Honestly as soon as you feel comfortable. There is never a “time”.

My baby came home at 13 days after being in the NICU, we took her out the next day lol she loves getting out of the house she’s 5 weeks old now

Day 5 lol. We just left him in his car seat or didn’t let other touch him. Can’t hide inside forever just take other precautions instead.

We waited about 2 weeks but were selective. Kept baby covered, if I’m public not even family could touch her, sat away from people. The one week we stayed home she ended up sick and in the hospital with a cold.
