Heartbeat 6w3d?

Question

Anyone had an ultrasound this early and got to see a heartbeat?? I booked mine for that time cuz I really just want to make sure there's something at least in there lol but I also don't want to cause myself more anxiety by possibly not seeing a heartbeat. I am leaning more towards just going and then taking it as it comes.

With my first pregnancy we got to see heartbeat at first scan, I think 6w3d (could have been to 6w5d, but definitely before 7w). Hoping all goes well for you,  we had a really strong heartbeat at that scan and I still ended up having a silent miscarriage at 11w.

Yes. I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 6 days and when I went in they said “we won’t see baby today, we’re just making sure there’s a sac in the uterus where it’s supposed to be.” To everyone’s surprise though, baby was there and the heart was beating. So it’s definitely possible at 6 weeks 3 days! It’s also possible for it to be too early so try not to worry if the heart isn’t beating yet. At the very least you’ll be able to confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus.
