I just googled this and it says cancer and birth defects? That’s kind of scary. Why does only California have it?

My husband works for a company and had to go through each of the products they sell and make a list of all the chemicals in them and then reprint all of their labels and adhere warning labels to each individual item on the off chance it was sold to California - prop 65 is a ridiculous requirement in California to have ALL products made with ANY chemical that may or may not cause cancer clearly marked with a warning label. But literally everything causes cancer if you live in California.
