No period for 3 months?

So my doctor recently changed my bc provider so now im not on the one's im used to being on.

Note: im used to being on the pills with 3 weeks of bc pills and then 1 week of the sugar pills for my period.

Anyway, she put me on pills that dont give you the sugar pills the last week. Im supposed to completely stop taking my pill for that week to start my period.

However, i really dont like that idea. I overthink alot and it gives me anxiety that i may not be protected for week. So i decided, im just gonna skip my period for a while, i have alot of events coming up so it would help. And it's so weird not getting my period...i usually use my period as a "pregnancy test" if it doesnt come so i have no idea atm 🤷🏻‍♀️
