Okay so I plan on going natural this time. But one thing has been rolling around in my head for a couple weeks. And I feel so dumb for asking but what if I have to have an episiotomy without an epidural. Do they just cut you or use a local anesthetic? Or are you just so caught up in the pain you don’t feel it. I had a minor tear with my first (had epidural) and nothing happened with my second. Just curious if anyone’s been in this situation and what happened lol.
