Schedule section vs vbac

Ladies I’m 36w 3 days and getting super anxious for a repeat section... I would much rather not have to care for a toddler and newborn while recovering from abdominal surgery!

I was originally told by my OB that I needed to have a repeat section due to risk as I did not feel labor last pregnancy which caused complications and ultimately the loss of one of our twin boys :( that pregnancy ended in an emergency c section.

Has anyone requested to attempt a vbac this late in pregnancy and have their doctor be on board? I have so much freaking anxiety about surgery and recovery it is insane.... and I don’t have a c section date yet. :(
