I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner and 5 weeks pregnant. I just found out that a patient that I cared for 2 times last week is CMV positive. I was wearing a mask, didn't handle bodily fluids, and washed my hands but cant help but worry. I haven't had my igg level drawn yet so I'm not sure if I'm immune. My igm won't be positive for a while if this exposure led to infection because the incubation period is so long. I know the odds are in my favor but I would really appreciate positive thoughts and prayers sent my way 😔
