numb hands??

my right hand has been feeling tingly like it’s asleep and also kind of numb it feels like i slapped something really hard it is really sensitive. I haven’t done anything but just put some make up on and the other day i was in the shower and it felt like that for awhile. I’m almost 38 weeks

Could also be carpal tunnel...very common in late pregnancy.

I used to always get numb hands, especially in the shower with my first. I have low pressure but my midwife wasn't concerned.

It could be your blood pressure, if there’s a way that you can get it checked yourself I would suggest doing that and seeing what your blood pressure is. If not I would just call your doctor and let them know. They will probably either tell you to call back if it continues or they’ll have you come in to eat your blood pressure checked. I had high blood pressure issues with my last two kids at the very end of my pregnancy. If I wasn’t as far as I was they probably would have been more concerned but since I was so far they had me stay updated with them, prescribed me a blood pressure device to check my blood pressure every hour and sent me home with a jug for a 24 hour urine protein test. I ended up giving birth before the doctors determined what their moving forward plan was. So I would just check it yourself or call them because they may want it checked and may want to have you go home with a 24 hour urine protein test jug. I wouldn’t get yourself worried about it especially with you being 38 weeks but your doctor will probably still want to know to make sure.
