Iud problems

I’m 16 and got the iud insertion April 25 on a Thursday , I was having horrible cramps and brownish discharge. I haven’t checked my strings because I’m anxious that I’ll push it up far or something so i haven’t done that . But I’m having cramps on the left side of my lower abdomen and down leg (my thigh basically ) , they come and go but hurt really bad . Idk if it’s normal to only be on one side and I’m also on my period but the bleeding isn’t light nor to heavy. I’ve been really nervous and overthinking it’s going to move or something . But when I got my iud Inserted I was in to much pain , to get my nexplanon out , and I have both In at the same time currently , will that effect anything in any type of way ? And should I call my doctor to check my strings for me?
