Anyone taking synthroid?

I had a total thyroidectomy 5 years ago and just got pregnant 😊 I’m 6w3d now and in my last exam my tsh was 3. My doctor raised my synthroid dose to 200. How are you guys doing ? How frequently do you guys have blood tests?

Doc has kept my dose the same so far, but I go for tests every 4 weeks unless I have an abnormal level, then we will change dose and I will go in every two weeks until back in range. So thankful for this medicine!

Same boat here!!  So happy to hear from some ladies dealing with the same thing!!  I’m 9 weeks today. Started at 1.15 on 112 a day and when I found out I was pregnant the endo bumped me up to 150. I go in every 4 weeks.  My levels were 3.12 on Friday - He bumped me up temporarily for the weekend and when we met Wednesday we’ll talk more about increasing my dose again.  He wants to keep my tsh below 2.5. It’s a little high now and it’s making me so nervous.

Yup me too! Dose is the same, but I take an extra pill (double dose) two days per week. So far all the numbers have been well within range so I think we will be getting a TSH every month.

I took it with my daughter and it was pretty good. No concerns or side effects. With this pregnancy my levels were 2.43 and my doctor said anything below 2.5 is fine. Of course I'm freaking out because my blood was taken at like 4 weeks... I hope it hasn't gone up. Hoping on to faith that my doctor knows what is what and all will be good!
