Is this my mucous plug? TMI pic

24 &3 today. Had sex yesterday.... keep getting pieces of what I think are my mucous plug and an increase in Braxton hicks... what do you guys think? It is pretty thick, unlike the regular annoying daily discharge. Should I be worried?

You can actually loose pieces of you mucus plug and it regenerate multiple times through out your pregnancy. Our bodies are so strange lol. For the Braxton hick laying down and drinking some water always calmed them down.

I get that from time to time but not that much. That’s a lot!! I would see if any other ladies check in and say whether or not they get that much before calling doctor.

I’ve had the exact same since 15 weeks. 
Losing my plug every 3ish weeks since then. 
And BH’s. 
Tightenings have got increasingly worse and teamed up with major pelvic pressure and baby is super low and head down in pelvis. 
Been told to go to maternity triage if tightenings come back accompanied with the pressure by my friend who is a midwife in hosp I’m having baby in. 
She’s also told me to drink plenty of fluids as not drinking enough can cause BH’s.

I would definitely call. During my last pregnancy, I lost my mucus plug and thought it was normal since everyone was telling me it can regenerate. I ended up in preterm labor and lost my little girl a week later. 😢

I've had that before I was pregnant, I thought it was just my body cleaning itself out. But like another user said if it is the mucous plug it will regenerate. As long as you feel fine and arent bleeding I would assume you are okay.

A small piece of it, maybe. I wouldn’t worry. Losing your plug isn’t a sign of labor in itself and it can regenerate. If you lose a lot more and it becomes bloody, then worry.
