How much does your baby weigh ?

My baby was born at 30 weeks at 2.8 lbs
He turns 4 months on the 18th.
He’s such a big boy now. Today he weighs 9lbs!!!
I love him! 
Is that a normal weight for being a preemie and now turning 4months ?

My daughter was born at 30weeks weighing 1lb, today she’s 11months old  (8.5 months corrected) and has just hit 14lbs. As long as their following their own growth curve, they’re doing great 😍💜

Preemies don’t have a “normal” weight really. The doctors more look to see they are growing. My son was born at 29 weeks. 3lbs 14oz. So he was big for his age. By the time I hit my due date he was 11 pounds. Now at 3 1/2 he is 42lbs. I know other people with preemies that are half his size at the same age but they just didn’t grow as quickly. As long as they stay on their growth curve it should be ok.
