Sitting up

My son is 11 weeks and trying to sit up on his own he pulls his body forward he tries so hard! Is anyone else’s baby doing this and if so what can I do to help him or do I just let him gradually keep trying on his own because I feel like it bothers him that he tries to sit up and can’t quiet do it yet. He will try when laying on lap horizontally and it’s the cutest thing ever I think it’s so funny how strong he is! He was rolling over on his own at only 4 weeks. Very strong baby lol.
