Wtf???

39+4 Contractions started last night, full blown and everything I was timing them to every 9-10 mins and lasting just about a minute long then at 430 they just stopped!! What?? What is happening? that was 3 hrs ago now and My stomach is still very tight and sore but no more obvious contractions. Will they restart?

Ugh this is the worst! It keeps happening to me too. I’m afraid when I actually go into real labor I won’t believe it lol.

With my first it was exactly like that coming regulary, went to hospital and they completely stopped. Honestly i think they thought i was lying! They started back again in the morning, was scared to go back in incase they stopped again but was admitted the following night 4cm dilated.

It’s possible and annoying, mine have been doing yeah pretty much all week. That’s why they tell you to wait until they’re 5 minutes apart for an hour cuz a lot of times it’s still too early in the game to deliver. 😕😕😕 (they’re probably helping your cervix though, even if it does suck that they stop)

Same thing happened to me, I’m a FTM currently 38+2 had to get an ambulance 1h30 minutes to Cork at 2am. They kept me in for a while but then contractions died down so we left 😔. Now I feel like I have to wait till the baby is crowning as we’re so far from the hospital. Not sure how I’ll know when it’s definetely happening, I need another sign
