When to tell parents you’re pregnant?

Mother’s Day is coming up! I’ll be 5 weeks. Would you tell your parents given timing, or wait for first ultrasound, or second trimester?

I told my mom super early, about 6 weeks. I hadn't even gone to the doctor yet. Now here I am, due in 15 days lol. Personally, I couldnt imagine telling my mom I miscarried without her knowing I was pregnant in the first place.

I'll be 6wk2d on Mother's Day. We plan on telling our immediate family. With my first, they knew before we went to our first doctors appointment too.

I told mine the day I got my positive. Happened to be on her 60 birthday ☺️

I'd personally wait. I've had three pregnancies and one baby

I told my mum with my first as soom as i found out. My second the day after (my eldest was only 4months old) and my 3rd 10days after i found out... with the 3rd it was later as I wasn't in a good place mentally.

I told my mom within minutes for all 3 of myn lol. I actually called her before my husband with my 1st and my current pregnancy. My second, my husband just happened to be home when I tested or else I would have called her first for that one too 😂

It’s 100% up to you. (Unfortunately) the chances of miscarriage are much higher in those first 3 months. It purely depends if you would want their support or want them to know if anything were to go wrong. I told my mum the day I got a positive test as I knew I’d need her emotionally if anything were to go wrong with my pregnancy. 
I personally think it would be a lovely day to tell them 🤗
