Stretch and sweep - did it work?

Hey ladies! I have my membrane sweep tomorrow and feeling so anxious! If you don’t mind sharing your experiences (if it worked or if it didn’t) I’d love to hear it! I’ll be 38+1. Thanks so much!

My doctor won’t do the sweep until 39 weeks. I wish I could get mine this week at 38. Is your doctor doing it early for medical reasons for you?

With my first I had my membrane sweep at 39 weeks exactly and the next day I lost my mucus plug and had my bloody show... then two days later, on the morning of 39w 3d, my water broke and I had my baby late that night!

Just had mine at 8:30am at 38+1 as well - 3cm &80%. I will keep you updated!!

Frustrating in uk won’t do them until weeks so I have mine booked for Saturday

I had mine Thursday at 38 weeks 1 day 2cm dilated. I'm 38 weeks 6 days today still pregnant. I'm having it done again this Thursday.

Had mine at 38 weeks (last wed) and I’m now 39 weeks and still nothing. I did lose my mucous plug that night though, and have had a lot of prodromal contractions. Hopefully they’ll give me another at my appt on Wednesday! My baby’s also measuring ahead so I really wanna go into labour naturally soon!
