I have a guy friend that we have been friends since kindergarten and we are now in our mid 20s. We have always been the friends who can read each other without anyone saying anything.

He moved away after college and we stayed in touch here and there. Last year he moved back and we spent a lot of time together. We hung out every weekend and never took more than three days without talking. During this time everyone thought we were dating. We discussed it and even talked marriage. Never went further than making out every now and then.

He then gets a job and moves away. We ended things since he wasn’t around. We talk here and there. I date a few guys to move on and he dates a girl for a few months.

He came home and visited and asked about the guy I was seeing. I told him that I ended it.

We talk about once a week. He messages me out of nowhere if I have a passport🤔 I tell him yes and he won’t tell me anything other than it is good to know.
