When should I start buying stuff

9 weeks today I don’t get my first ultrasound til this weekend but I’m way past ready to start buying things and to start setting up the babies room when did u guys start or when is it safe to start buying things?

I started before I was pregnant lol. The way I saw it, pregnancy/having a baby is my ultimate goal; it’s going to happen sooner or later so why not be prepared. Got pregnant my first month trying and probably won’t have to buy diapers or wipes for a year or two.

My wife started around that time. It was like little things. We started to buy the bigger things by the end of the second trimester. I’m 38 weeks and because we bought soo much in the beginning, this little boy has everything he needs. It’s never too early to be prepare.

I’m totally with you - so ready to start getting everything together, but at 4w6d it’s probably too early.
