I went to my general practitioner a couple days ago and for the first time brought up our struggle with TTC for 2.5 years. She referred me to have a pelvic exam done (tomorrow) and to also see a fertility specialist (next week). I just got off the phone with someone scheduling the appointment and no one has mentioned anything about my husband. Is this appointment just for me? My husband has not had any tests done yet either, so at this point we don't know if the problem is me, him, or both of us.

He will be going to the appointment with me regardless, because I don't want to drive that far in an unfamiliar area, but I don't know what to expect.

I just assumed the first appointment with a fertility specialist would focus on both of us.
