Until I found out the gender of my baby I only had a girl name picked out but I had nice long list of boy names I was still undecided on. Most of those names were Ray variant names to honor my grandfather whom I was very close to until he passed, and all sorts of different middle names to go along with them. Well the weekend before the gender reveal, my cousin (who was more like a brother to me) passed away and after finding out my baby was a boy I wanted to honor him as well. I really like the name, but I haven't shared it with anyone except family and some like it while of course others don't. My MIL said the first name sounds like a type of fabric, but I just rolled my eyes at her.

But I still want get an outside opinion on it and see if maybe y'all had some different versions you think might work as well.
