Sex doesn't feel special, should it?

I'm almost 20 now, I lost my virginity to my boyfriend a few weeks before I turned 19 it was early in our relationship but I was ready. We have sex a lot (which isn't a problem) but it has never really felt special... Even though he's my boyfriend and I love him a whole lot, it just feels like sex, no emotions involved. I sometimes just feel like crying, I get so afraid that I'll never have anyone "make love" to me.

It's always good sex, and he genuinely loves me, wants to marry me and have kids and all that so I know lack of love isn't a problem, I just don't know if there's any way to bring this up without hurting his feelings? Or is it even worth bringing it up to him?
