Milk allergy/sensitivity??

So my baby is 7 months now and I think he could possibly have a milk sensitivity. I am wondering if anyone who has a child with a milk allergy can tell me what they think.

My baby is formula fed and he was a really cranky baby for the first 3 months of his life. His pediatrician suspected he may have had silent reflux, but never treated it because she didn’t think the medication they prescribed was effective, and she decided to see if he would outgrow it before doing anything about it.

So I was desperate and tried different formulas, and I found the similac pro sensitive with lactose sensitivity, and within a few days, he was a whole new baby, and didn’t seem to have tummy issues anymore. I wasn’t sure if it was the switch of the formula, or because he was at the point where babies outgrow colic/reflux.

Now he tried yogurt for the first time and he has been super fussy and gassy. No rash so I don’t think it’s an allergy, but he deff seems bothered. I called the doctor and she told me not to continue the yogurt, and they would do allergy testing at his 8 month visit, so i will have answers soon, but in the meantime, could he possibly be allergic to milk??
