Mother’s Day when you’re trying to conceive after loss

Taylor

I had a miscarriage back in November of 2018. I went through a very depressive state as most mothers would when miscarrying. It was my first pregnancy. My first positive. ❤️ I was over the moon when I found out. Everything was in place. Then my world came crashing down.

When I went to the OBGYN after the miscarriage, he found a massive tumor on my uterus. He also found that my uterus is deformed. He wanted to do surgery. I agreed and when he went in, he found not only a tumor, but 5 massive polyps. He said he couldn’t believe I got pregnant in the first place because there was no room for the baby to attach to the uterine wall. After months of mini surgeries and being told I might need to look into a surrogate, he came back with the result that I could try again. “Ah”, I thought. Finally a ray of sunshine after a such hell storm.

I started trying again two months ago, and no luck. Now, (according to this app) I’m suppose to start my period the day after Mother’s Day. I’m going to take another test ON Mother’s Day to see if it’s positive. I’m feeling pregnancy like symptoms- (hot flashes, sharp cramping, SO hungry and thirsty, vivid dreams, and light nausea that doesn’t seem to go away.) I’m hoping it’s not in my head. What a Mother’s Day gift...to find out you’re pregnant...what a dream it would be. Crying happy tears tonight and telling the universe it’s time for my rainbow to come. Wishing you all the same luck. May your Mothers Day be full of wonderful surprises. Here’s to positive tests, and January babies 🤰🏼
