It was very uncomfortable but a good chance to practice breathing. And once it was over it was fine.

A lot of pressure but I wouldn’t say it hurt!

It depends how ready your cervix is. I had one at 38+5 and the midwife struggled to get into my cervix as it was only 1cm and still really thick. That one hurt a lot
The next one at 39+4 I was 2cm and cervix was fully thinned out so whilst it still hurt, no where near as bad
