So I’m being induced on Monday. My family lives about two hours away and the plan was that my mom is supposed to come up and watch my three year old daughter at my house. My mom has never been to my house for she never comes to visits us. Out of the blue she asked me if she could come up two hours one way on Sunday get my daughter and take her back two hours away so my husband and I could go have the baby. 1) It’s Mother’s Day. 2) This is the very first time my three year has left me for a whole night and it will be for two days! 3) I wanted my daughter to meet her little sister first. But I’m afraid I will have to fight to get my daughter to be brought to me. I’m a nervous wreck.

Someone please tell me it will be alright, that I’m overreacting. I’m afraid she’s going to be so upset that she isn’t home and a new baby is going to be home before she comes back. I wanted the moments of introductions before announcing our new baby is here.
