Yesterday was my due date, I’m officially 40+1. Yesterday I also got a call from my midwives that my H&H levels are starting to go DOWN again, even though I’m getting iron infusions twice a week. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m still considered in a “safe” zone and not anemic anymore, but they want to try to get this baby out ASAP so I don’t become anemic again.

I’m going in for one more iron infusion today, and directly after that going to get a stretch and sweep by my midwife. Then I’ll hit the chiropractor on the way home, and spend the rest of the day doing as many “natural induction” methods as I possibly can. 😂 Prayers that it works please! I had resigned myself to waiting until this baby is ready to come out, but apparently we need to nudge him along a little bit.

I’ve had contractions off and on (sometimes borderline painful) for several days, but as soon as I sit or lay down they stop, so nothing real yet. Plus, my doula has to unexpectedly go out of town tomorrow afternoon until Saturday evening, so it would be ideal if baby comes today!
