Is this weird or am I overreacting?

My bf and I have had our locations visible to each other throughout our entire relationship and now he all of a sudden wants them off and turned them off. I just wanna know if you guys would think it’s odd too.

I think it’s odd but if he’s asking for both of urs to be turned off then maybe not as weird? I guess it just depends. If its on how does he ever surprise u? Like with certain gifts because u would always see what he’s doing and some people just don’t like being watched 24/7 but it would throw me off a little to. I would just ask him about it.

Well.....on one hand, if he was doing something shady, then he could just “hide” his location from you (turn location services off, turn his phone off, etc) without alerting you by asking to turn them off. BUT it would seem strange to me too. Does he give you a reason?

I personally think if it’s not for a certain reason for example job purposes, tracking your young child then I don’t like tracking or support it.
If there is jealousy issues it’ll just increase them.. 
If he wants them both to be turned off not weird completely sane. 
If suddenly his not okay with his being on then yeah his up to something.
