Any other FTMs having a ton of questions about what choices to make during the birth?

I so want to try a vaginal birth but I’m a bit all over the place on the epidural. My doctor said she definitely recommends it, but I’ve heard so many horror stories of back pains for years as a result, and how it sometimes doesn’t even work, etc etc.

Doc also said she doesn’t do episiotomies and recommends natural tearing (yikes!). So I’m imagining my lady bits tearing up and me not having any pain relief and I’m just like 🤯
