When should I take my baby out of infant car seat?

He seems so uncomfortable in it. It’s really tight around his head and shoulders. The head piece doesn’t come out so I’m not sure what to do. He’ll be 6months in a few weeks. Just not sure his head and body are strong enough for a car seat upgrade. Any thoughts?

I personally don’t switch over till they can sit on their own. I only keep them in the carrier one so I can put it in the shopping cart. The moment my little one can sit I’ll just have her sit in the cart and put her in a convertible car seat.

Had the same problem Za'riah never liked the infant car seat was really fussy when i put her in but we recently got a 4 in 1 and this lil baby really enjoy it so me my self i say if your baby is uncomfortable then change it

Thanks ladies. Just realized I cab adjust the head rest. Doh 🤦🏻‍♀️. Problem solved. Was really thinking I was going to have to buy 4 car seats way too early (grandparents and nanny need one too).
Do the 4 in 1s use bases, too, or am I going to have to buy a separate unit for all cars?
