When is CD1?

So ladies, I was diagnosed with pcos, so I was put on provera and clomid. I’m suppose to take clomid CD3-7. I finished my provera on Sunday. I’m cramping and I can tell that I’m starting, like I’m spotting and everything too. My question is, what do you count as CD1? Is it when the cramps and spotting start, or do you wait for your first real day of a flow? I’m just so scared to take this medicine wrong! Someone help please.

My doctor says “full flow” before 3pm is considered CD1, if it’s not full flow, or if it starts after 3pm then you would consider the following day to be CD1! If that makes sense haha. Fingers crossed for you! I too have PCOS, to give you some positive; I had to go through fertility treatments (Letrozole and Ovidrel) BUT I have a very healthy happy two and a half year old from that! So baby dust to you! My doctor told us cd1 is when you first see spotting.  I recently got put on Metformin and Clomid. I started my metformin right away just waiting for my cycle so I can start my clomid.
