UPDATE: Clogged duct was Mastitis

I just want to thank you ladies!

I didn’t even know you could develop a plugged duct or develop mastitis while pregnant. Without your help I’d still be suffering.

I got into the doctor’s for an appointment and I do have mastitis. I got some antibiotics with follow up in a week. The doctor said it’s not very common in pregnancy and so I may have to see a breast specialist and may it impact my ability to breastfeed (it will likely reoccur). Since I am not producing or expressing milk other than leakage that happens naturally I am just suffering through it till the medication kicks in but I am glad I know what’s up and it’s being treated. My husband bought me cake cause tomorrow is my birthday and I am in so much pain.
