Natural Cycles vs other birth control methods
So I had a baby in February, and talked to my doctor about birth control at my 6 week postpartum appointment. I have always been really hesitant to be on birth control because my periods are perfectly normal and I’m not an overly emotional person on the reg and I know birth control messes with that, but I am also not open to putting any foreign objects in my body to prevent pregnancy which leaves me with very few options...
I tried taking lo loestrin fe 24 in 2017 and it made me SUPER emotional and I bled everyday so I threw it away after 2 weeks. I started on the mini pill Norlyda about 5 weeks ago and I just hate it. I feel really emotional again, even though it’s estrogen free, and my sex drive has been extremely low, almost non-existent which is SO not normal for me. I just don’t feel like myself. I threw it away today and ordered a Natural Cycles thermometer and downloaded the app. I’m kind of worried about it because we definitely don’t want to have another baby for at least 2 years. Can anyone share their experience with Natural Cycles and the effectiveness so far? I feel like it’s a good option for me considering my extremely normal periods, I’ve been using eve for 2 years and it has always been accurate in predicting my ovulation period.
