Progesterone??

Question

So I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I had to take progesterone pills with my last two babies. Now I'm in a different state and my obs nurse says they don't typically give out progesterone anymore even if my levels are lows because there's no shown benefit. Is this right?? Like I'm iffy with doctors because I've been lied to before for a doctors benefit instead of mine. I can't even see the doctor until I'm 10 weeks so I'm a little nervous. She also said because I haven't lost any babies it's more than likely I won't need the pills anyways. I'm really confused.

My doctor has had me on them both of my pregnancies. First because i was low, second as a precaution because first ended in miscarriage. 
She said there’s differing opinions on if it helps or just delays the inevitable. 
This pregnancy she only wants me taking them until 11 weeks because she says there’s some evidence that it can cause placental issues. 
No idea what’s really true, but that’s my situation with progesterone.

My dr also told me there’s no proven benefit but he has put me on them due to 2 mc’s. I’m still early days but I don’t think there’s any harm to trying progesterone which is exactly what my dr said too.

This is my first pregnancy and they put me on progesterone because even though my levels were rising, they weren’t exactly high enough. I went from 10.97 to 15.51 in a week on the pills. They are keeping me on them until I’m about 12 weeks. They definitely helped me. Not sure why your doctor would not recommend it especially with your past medical history. Better safe than sorry!!

So I WAS put on progesterone and did some research and what I found showed she’s correct. There’s no difference between the live births of those who took the supplements who had low numbers and those who did not take it. I still took mine but stopped early because they made me super sick. I would research it and find the study they did because from my research the doctor would be correct.
