Does anyone else roll their eyes when you see someone say “finally pregnant after 4 months of trying!”

I’m honestly so tired of seeing posts about women asking “when will it be my turn? I’ve been trying for 5 months!?” Or, “Finally, after 6 months of crying at period, I finally got my BFP.” 
I seriously feel so pessimistic saying this, but it really frustrates me! Even I haven’t been trying nearly as long as some women on here, but I at least have the decently not to say something as insensitive as “how long did it take you to get pregnant? It’s already been 3 months and nothing!”

No. Because no one needs a debbie downer around them. Pregnancy deserves to be celebrated no mattter how long it took.

No, because it’s not a competition.
I understand maybe the headspace people could be in, but it’s not beneficial to be annoyed or bitter about it. It doesn’t change anything.
A BFN sucks whether you get it 3 times or 300 times 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m with you. I get that everyone experiences this journey differently, and I’d never rain on anyone’s parade when they get their BFP, but seeing women say they are “devastated” after only a few months TTC has me 🙄

You don’t know how long someone’s been waiting to TTC. I for example have been fighting a heartbreaking battle with my other half to even get to first cycle of TTC. So I may only be month 1 but in my head I’m at Year 3.

I think that it’s something to celebrate, and that for everyone the wait to get pregnant feels/is different. However, with that said, from someone who has tried for years, it is frustrating to hear someone say “finally” or more things in that regard, after trying 2-3 months. Time is subjective, and I get that. But I think there is some sensitivity others could take, to the fact that some women try for a very long time. So there is a way to post things that keep that in mind I think. Just like we do for other things we suffer from.

I voted No, cause I truly am happy for her. 
But I feel the same in that moment as I did when my friend told me she pregnant with #2 when I started TTC before she even got pregnant with #1!!! 
While 90% of me is happy for them, my evil 10% is so freaking annoyed & honestly just jealous! Lol

When they post in the TTC room, yes since BFP aren’t allowed there.  I do have to say I have felt the same disappointment every month that I am not pregnant though, even when I first started trying.
