Head lice not being dealt with by schools?

So had an interesting talk with someone today who works in a hospital, and was asking about lice stuff. My nieces have had lice more than SEVEN times this year so far! She said one of the schools in our area, she found out, won't head check everyone because it's a privacy violation. I'm curious how y'all feel about this. I my self am quite upset. We've taken every step to eliminate the nasty pests and they always come back because of classmates flicking their hair everywhere, or sitting in their desk without permission (normal kid stuff) or maybe the parents just don't properly deal with it? But me personally, I see no issue checking every kid in the building to make sure it's dealt with. If I had a kid and someone in their class had head lice, my kid should get checked to! I guess I fail to see the issue but hey, if you disagree, enlighten me as to why.
