Long Distance Relationship in the Military

Sooo my boyfriend is in the Marines, he’s been deployed in Spain for 2 months and he has 4 more months to go. He told me last month that when he comes back to the US he’d be stationed in California 😩😭

It really broke my heart cause we barely spent time together when he was here in Virginia and now he’s gonna he even further away from me 🥺 idk how I feel about him being that far.

I want to stay in the relationship with him because he really is the love of my life and everything I ever needed but the distance just scares me and idk what to do. He’s my first real and physical relationship and I just don’t wanna lose any feelings or my love for him just because we won’t be close to each other anymore. ☹️

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? Anything will help
