Sperm donations ?

Question

If your husband wanted to donate sperm how would you feel about it ? 
I’m conflicted because I’d feel odd knowing someone could use my hubs seed to make a child but I know it could also potentially help someone to have a child of their own. Btw, I would never tell him he can’t do it if he really wants to because his body his choice my thoughts on it shouldn’t effect his choice because he’s not doing anything wrong you know ? I support whatever he decides to do and he knows that, I just honestly think of it as like someone else having a child that would have his dna being apart of him in some way. I could just be weird and my mind could change if I got educated more about it, but this is my current mindset on it and would like to hear your guys thoughts about it. I have talked to him about it also and let him know id support him with whatever he chooses. 
But yeah, what are your guys thoughts on it ladies ? If your man told you he wanted to donate sperm how would you feel about it ?

I guess I’m odd-man-out here but I definitely wouldn’t be comfortable with it. I think it’s great that you recognize that it’s his body and that you’re open to learning more about it, but I completely understand your unease. My husband wouldn’t do something I was uncomfortable with, but I don’t think that’s the same thing as me telling him not to. If it was the other way around I would absolutely respect his feelings 🤷‍♀️

My parents used an egg donor to have me, I got to meet her and 3/4 half sisters this week and she was saying that she never thought she’d get a chance to meet us because there were no at home DNA tests then. But since there are now there could be a chance that the offspring will reach out one day

If we never wanted kids and/or it was the right couple- straight, same sex, single parent whatever it might be then I would consider being ok with it. But it would have to be someone we know or trust(we wouldn’t be responsible in anyway shape or form) but we would want to know the couple and essentially know the child. Again It would all have to line up perfectly!! I wouldn’t say yes or no either way we would discuss it. Same goes for donating my eggs to a couple- or parent.

I would be fine with it and support it fully. I don't see an issue with it.. he would be helping others have their dream of being parents.
