Which size did your baby wear the longest/should I have more of?

FTM trying to figure out what size clothes to be most prepared with!!

I would recommend just buying a few basics in each size and waiting to see how fast baby grows/what season you end up needing in what size. They grow out of those first years clothes so quickly that just a few in each size will get you through. Also, I got so many clothes as gifts after my daughter was born that some we never got to wear because there were just that many! It's a good problem to have haha.

I voted 3-6 bc I put them in clothes that were too big so I didn't have to buy as many of the little ones. When baby is tiny, you don't need as many whole outfits bc you stay in most of the time (unless you have older kids with activities, or have to return to work early).

Really important not to go over board lol. I did. Clothing sizes very so much from. One brand to the other. Or t-shirt might be one size and pants needs to be bigger or smaller lol or they just to skinny . 
Right now my daughter is 2,7 and she wears 5T clothes . We flew thru the sizes. It also is challenge to get right clothes size with right season weather.  
I recommend to get a lot but not crazy a lot lol. Better to buy more later :)

My son outgrew everything super quick. I'm glad I didn't waste money on extra clothes.  I wouldn't go overboard with clothes.

It’s so hard to know how fast your baby will grow. My oldest is 2 and JUST got into 18 month clothes less than a month ago, he’s a little peanut. My daughter is 9 months and is in 6 months clothes.  Definitely buy bigger sizes clothes though because at your baby shower, if you have one, guests tend to favor the small, cute clothes so you normally end up with a ton of little sizes.

My daughter was a preemie so she was tiny at birth (4lbs11oz, 18.25in). But she grew like a weed. She's 2yr4mo and in 4/5t. (31lbs 36in) she was in 3-6&6-9 the longest.

I never bought newborn clothes for my either of my kids, but they ended up staying in each of those sizes for 3 months. Pretty consistent. I wouldn’t buy ahead too much. I’d focus on getting 0-3 stuff and maybe a little bit of 3-6 but wait until she’s born and you can kind of gauge what and when you’ll need it.

Ironically 18m, he’s been in them for 3m. I’m pushing it until June because I’m not ready to buy a new wardrobe again. From experience I’m skipping out on NB and just getting 0-3 (only 6 day clothes and 6 sleep clothes), babies grow at such different rates and to start off with that seems to be the safest size
